This is Roy, minus the white China pencil highlights.
Once again, that left handed smudge is very apparent with graphite work - at least with graphite, a good eraser (on decent paper,) will take away the unwanted smudges.....so as easy with the red pencils....although they do not smudge as much.
Roy was the first sketch I did in a neighborhood that was not primarily in warm weather attire. I went back into the site and pulled up several neighborhood images, based on their entry image, and then discovered that entire neighborhoods were photographed in summer and some were photographed in winter......I sketched Fred not too long after discovering Roy, and actually tried a pencil other than regular graphite OR red!!!! I would do more of that......
