"Indigo"

Of course there is nothing like the reality of a little public humiliation to tug at the heart strings of all of us.....
Upright flamingo of duo relief printed in isolation - Black Ranger ink and Derwent Inktense pencils, activated with water on 300 series tan Strathmore paper, coated with white gesso prior to printing.

The lone blue flamingo can make a statement all by himself, but........in the flock......

Layered relief printing of flamingo duo to create small flock - Black Ranger ink and FW acrylic inks on 400 series printmaking Strathmore paper; variation #1
he stand out among his peers.  This image could carry the caption, "...Indigo was sure that by wearing the striped flamingo leggings, no one would notice his blue feathers..."

Layered relief printing of flamingo duo to create small flock - Black Ranger ink and FW acrylic inks on 400 series printmaking Strathmore paper; variation #2
With just a little shift in where the blue flamingo is positioned, the caption could change to, "...Indigo moved to the head of the flock with her new fashion-forward colors for fall...."
