A Range of Techniques and Materials Results In........

It is fun to look at the different ways it is possible to render one idea by using different materials.  In my recent work, I think the image I have experimented with the most is the iris.  With the exception of the deep purple showy iris (at the bottom of this post), all of the other iris images are variations of the large, bearded flowers that bloom along the side of our house.   You'll notice in these examples, that the printing process, whether it is block printing in my studio, or giclee printing at the printer, multiple copies of the basic image allow for color variation and experimentation.  The one you like the best is probably influenced by your own color, texture and pattern preferences.
